Happy New Year my loves! This year was filled with great memories and even some not so good ones, but now I am ready for a new year that brings a clean slate full of opportunities!! I am forever thankful for all of my readers for going on this style adventure with me. In 2014 I decided to start my blog as a hobby to showcase my love for fashion! I see fashion as a way to get creative and a way to show the many layers of your personality. New Years Eve is all about getting dressed up, the Volante wrap dress is ideal for the occasion. After all it is Diane von Furstenberg's birthday. I am loving the ruffled trim along the neckline, which is very flattering, and around the cuffs! This dress is 100% wool, layered with a vintage fur cape, a dream come true. Now, it would not be a New Years look without its necessary amount of sparkle. The Isabel pump is just what I needed, it has a silver layer underneath a champagne glitter fabric that looks like a snake pattern. I love that both gold and silver were incorporated, so a simple gold necklace and a gold band are a small gold compliment to the heels. I went to TJ Maxx looking for a clutch and got just what I wanted! Mission accomplished, now some of my resolutions are to get in better shape, help others, and to work even harder this year!
