May 10 Polka Dot

Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful and hard working women out there! I am so happy I get to see my family today! This special day calls for something classy and feminine. I chose this black and white polka dot a-line dress that I've been saving for a while now. It is a classic silhouette for any body shape and will make you feel like a total lady. It isn't often that you find a vintage dress that fits like a glove, when you find it, hold on tight! I added a white belt to break up the print and accentuate the waist. I kept the accessories minimal with casual sandals and the mini Dooney and Bourke I just added to my collection. If you are looking for a more dressed up look, opt for heels and a statement handbag. It was really fun trying something new for this shoot. I have been in Madison for three years and passing by Paul's Books almost everyday, but never have gone inside. I'm glad Naku had a special project in mind and for being a part of it! It certainly will not be my last time visiting this place, and I will be sure to keep checking out new places in town!
