Palmas

All I can dream of right now is of sipping a piña colada underneath a palm tree on a sandy beach in Puerto Rico. Since I cannot be there right now I will resort to a look that can give me a feeling of being in the tropics.  Humidity comes with the warmer weather which calls for loose fitting clothing. This top has an awesome palm print that sets the island vibes I'm going for, and it is also ultra-lightweight along with these linen shorts.  To spice up this look I chose a little O-ring bralette action from UO, topped with one of my favorite necklaces! The Stone + Triangle High/Low Necklace quickly became one of my staples because it has both gold and silver mixed already for you and is conveniently layered as well!

My love and I recently celebrated our fourth year anniversary in May, and if I say so myself he has great taste (probably rubbed off from me)! He gifted me the Mini Selma bag from Michael Kors, and I do not know if it is because of sentimental value, but this bag goes with everything and I cannot seem to put it down.

When it comes to leather shoes, I will always recommend anything from Bed|Stü  because they are beautifully crafted and made to feel great to walk in, which is most important.  I love the Soto sandals because they are easy to throw on and have a playful, yet sophisticated design. I loved them so much that even though I already owned the brown pair, I had to get them in black and I could not be happier about it!  Suns out, hats and shades out! This boater hat is like a cherry on top for this tropical ensemble and it sure made me feel like I was back in the island!
