Hi

Welcome to my blog. I'm an island girl living in the cheese state. A thrift queen & a fashion junkie.

As autumn continues to take over, I just want to cherish what feels like luxurious sunshine.  Although, I am inclined to wear jeans, flannels, and sweaters, I am trying to wear items that won't be as practical to wear when it gets colder, like dresses can be.  We can always layer on tights but, ideally dresses are best on their own.  In the efforts to welcome the coziness of fall I chose to pair this rusted floral dress with the Manchester tall boot from Bed|Stü.  Handcrafted boots never looked better, from its classic style to the eye catching red stitching and subtle distressing.  These are the perfect tall boots and I wish I had them in every color!  This pairing makes an effortless personal style statement so I kept it simple with straight hair, with a small part in the middle and minimal accessories.  Lately, I've been addicted to getting my nails done, because you can get it done and forget about it for a while.  This "Tulle" shade from Essie is the perfect introduction to those dearly beloved fall shades.  I really like how it complements the grey distress of the boots and is topped off with a series of jeweled rings.
