Lolla17

Hey guys!  If you followed my social media, you already know that I attended Lollapalooza recently!  Last year I went for one day to see Lana Del Rey, but it flew by so quickly that I knew I had to try all four days this year!  One thing I do not like is the fact that you have to get passes before the lineup is revealed, but it does make sense from a business standpoint.  I must admit I was not too enthused when the lineup came out, but was pleased to see Sampha would be performing!  The first day rained on and off all day, but a good poncho goes a long way!  I really enjoyed discovering Jon Bellion and his amazing performance! At the end of the night my friend and I headed to see Lorde!  Seeing Lorde felt like I was getting my money's worth, until they took her off stage due to "severe weather".  The second day was a bit chilly which was pretty ideal for my maxi skirt look!  We saw Bishop Briggs, Majid Jordan, Whitney, and an iconic performance from The Killers put the cherry on top!   On the third day the sun finally was shining beautifully which made it all that much better!  I could not wait to see Russ and I was not disappointed!  Then my friend dragged me to see Banks, which I was not too crazy about but saw Malia thanks to it.  Chance was last and even though I was way in the back, I was happy to be there!  By the last day all I wanted was to stay in and chill, but I put on my outfit and made our way to Grant Park!  We saw a few performances on Sunday but who I only cared about was Sampha!!  I got there early to get a perfect view and was not surprised by the small gathering because even though people know his voice, they don't know his name.  As his time to go on stage you could feel everyone's excitement as the crowd grew.  Sampha is the angelic voice you have probably heard on 'Too Much' which is actually not by Drake.  I abstained from recording or taking too many pictures of him because I did not want to miss any of his performance!  Seeing him again would be so great and I recommend everyone to check his debut album 'PROCESS'!  I stayed to see a bit of Joey Bada$$, but it got too crowded and we decided to call it a night!  I was so happy to experience all four days, but I doubt I would do it again!  I hope you enjoyed my looks as much as I enjoyed putting them together!  If you've gone to any festivals, what was your experience like?  Hope you all have a lovely day!
