Gladiator

There are two things I love about it being close to summer. The first is being able to go outside and the feeling you get when soaking up the vitamin D, but most importantly, I love to see all the greenery and flowers flourish. Nothing can compare to that smell and that is why I often visit the Allen Centennial Gardens, where we chose to shoot this look.  There are 21 individually themed gardens and thousands of plant species, meaning you're only seeing a small portion here. I'm not huge on tribal prints but I can surely appreciate it, and when it comes to this romper it is subtle enough for my liking.  This is a lightweight silhouette ideal for the warmer days to come.  The back calls for a razorback bralette, but I chose a halter one instead because it felt better.  I have had this necklace for a while now and have worn it multiple times, but it dawned on me that I had not done a shoot with it! A coin necklace is the perfect bohemian statement on its own, but also with an overall boho-chic look like this one. The small jewels complement the hat while adding a little bit of color, shine, and texture.  These gladiator sandals from Bed|Stu are beautifully crafted by hand just like every other pair, but what made the Claire sandals stand out is they're color!  The black rustic driftwood finish almost looks blue on this soft leather which will go great with jeans!  Bed|Stu shoes are as comfy as they are beautiful making them a great addition to my comfy-chic-all-over-the-place wardrobe! Have an awesome week!
