Anyone that knows me knows I am not one to conform to just one style of clothing. For me changing it up is a way to show a different aspect of your personality or a way to be perceived how you would like. There are so many stylish women working in a strict office environment which is why I felt inspired to style this polished everyday look that can easily be put together. Silk is one of my most beloved fabrics because it can be worn all year round! I paired a silk top from J Crew with silky black shorts for an airy yet, sophisticated ensemble. I love that the ruffled neckline adds a feminine touch to substitute a need for a necklace, making it that much easier to get ready in the mornings! I know most office jobs will not let you wear shorts, but you can easily replace them with a pencil skirt or slacks. Throw on a blazer to keep warm during office hours and take it off for a night out! Top it off with a classic red lip that serves as a fun pop of color.
